BIOGRAPHY

Luis Garcia is a financial crimes expert with over 25 years of experience. He has a proven track record in investigating large-scale financial crimes, including international fraud, fraud management, risk, and compliance.

Luis began his career as a financial crimes detective with the Orlando Police Department, dedicating nine years to fighting financial fraud. His work laid a solid foundation for his expertise in this field.

He then moved into the corporate world, joining Bank of America's Corporate Security Group. Over 19 years, Luis held various roles in investigative and fraud management, eventually becoming the Senior Vice President for Bank of America Enterprise Fraud Management. At Bank of America, he developed a deep passion for helping fraud victims and gained a thorough understanding of the U.S. financial system.

Luis's success led him to the Canada Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), where he led the U.S. Fraud Management Group for two years. He then joined Social Finance Bank (SoFi Bank) to head their Global Fraud Investigations Group.

Seeking to use his expertise to help individuals rather than corporations, Luis joined DRC Asociados. His dedication to justice and recovery for fraud victims is unmatched.

Besides his professional career, Luis is a retired Senior Military Officer from the U.S. Army, where he served as a Colonel in the Florida National Guard for 30 years, including two deployments supporting the global war on terrorism.

Luis holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Puerto Rico, a Master's in Criminal Law from the University of Central Florida, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and Staff College.

Luis Garcia's unique combination of law enforcement, corporate security, and military experience makes him an invaluable asset to DRC Asociados in the fight against financial fraud.
